Anuga goes hybrid and gives the world’s leading food and beverage trade fair a stronger web presence with its new Anuga @home format

Cologne, Germany, May 31, 2021 / PRNewswire / – “Transformer” is the main theme of this year’s Anuga. During which will be discussed not only the topics related to the transformation within the food industry, but also the new concepts of the main world fair itself, which is organized for the first time in a hybrid format. As a result, the usual physical fair with on-site product presentations in Cologne will be further enriched by the digital element Anuga @home.

The hybrid format has the advantage that industry players around the world – exhibitors, trade visitors and trade press – can exchange ideas live Cologne or digitally via the newly developed platform and learn about important industry topics. Through the enhancement of the analog trade fair through the digital platform, a new hybrid trade show experience will be created, wherever the main players, decision makers and other relevant target groups are located.

Digital tools for maximum reach

The digital event Anuga @home offers exhibitors various presentation possibilities. The platform is accessible via the virtual lobby. Here you will find an overview of all features as well as initial recommendations for relevant contacts, exhibitors and upcoming items on the trade show agenda.

In addition, the platform offers additional components such as the “main stages”, where the program organized by Anuga takes place. For example, top speakers will present industry themes – live onsite from Cologne or by stream from all over the world – via the “congress stages”. News and highlights from exhibitors will be presented on the “Product Stages”. Here there will also be other target group-specific stages, for example the “Anuga trade show scene”, the “Anuga start-up phase”, the “Anuga taste innovation phase” or the “Anuga taste phase” of Anuga Food Trends “.

In the Exhibitors and Products section, the “Showfloor” acts as a counterpart to the exhibition hall. From there, access to the various exhibitors’ stands, the “Showroom”, is possible. Exhibitors can provide relevant information about their companies, products and services in the Showroom. Visitors, other exhibitors, high level decision makers, buyers, industry experts and media representatives can be contacted through the “Communication Center” by audio, video or chat in the form of a one-on-one communication. The visual “discovery graph” makes identifying relevant contacts and companies incredibly easy and interactive – either through networks, personal contacts or by using the Match function based on entered interests.

The show team will, among other things, organize webinars with live demonstrations in the coming weeks to present the features and possibilities of the digital platform. Visitors will be able to access Anuga @home’s live program from 11.10.-13.10.2021. After this date, the content can be called up on demand. Access to networking options is also possible after the close of the fair.
